How it works
Leuprorelin belongs to a class of medicines called gonadotropin-releasing hormone GnRH agonists. These medicines reduce the effect of gonadotrophin-releasing hormone receptors, thereby reducing the release of gonadotrophin hormones hormones that stimulate release of eggs, production of sperms and are important for reproduction and fertility which in turn cause inhibition of androgen and estrogen production.
